P355NL1, also referred to as pressure vessel plate, is a fine grained steel grade used in the manufacture of pressure vessels and bolilers. The steel is suitable for aplications at low temperatures and has a high resistance to brittle cracking.
P refers to steel for Pressure vessels.
355 indicates the yield strength in N/mm² (MPa) for the smallest thicknes range.
P355NL1 is kept in stock in thicknesses from 10 to 280 mm.
Products can be delivered with 3.1 and 3.2 certificate.
